The GAN Timer Mat is three millimetres of natural foam rubber, which takes the impact of a cube dropped at the end of a solve. At 300mm square there is room for the timer and the cube side by side without either overhanging.
Plastic connectors seat the GAN Smart Timer so it cannot slide. These are the fittings for that timer instead of the Halo, which uses a screw-down mat.
The GAN Timer Mat carries a print of notable times and the scrambles that produced them, which is a nicer piece of design than most mats manage. Pairs with GAN Smart Timer (Dark Samurai) or GAN Smart Timer (Silver Knight).
