The GAN Pyraminx was the first to use a core-edge magnetic positioning system. The GAN Pyraminx Enhanced is the version with the full magnet count and the tuning parts in the box.

Sixty magnets, split as 24 corner-to-centre, 12 edge-to-core and 24 edge-to-centre. Upgraded core positioning. The honeycomb piece texture holds lubricant longer and spreads it more evenly. It corner cuts to 120 degrees. Spare GES springs come in yellow, blue and purple. Frosted finish, 66g.

Sixty magnets across three pairings hold the GAN Pyraminx Enhanced in line from the core outwards, not only at the contact surfaces. That gives the firm stop at the end of a turn.

The spare springs are the practical difference against the Standard. Pyraminx is unusually sensitive to spring tension, and swapping a colour takes a minute and changes the puzzle more than any amount of lube will.

Cubes dry out with use and start to feel scratchy. A few drops of GAN No.1 Lube Maintenance 10ml keeps the turning smooth and slows the wear.
