The QiYi Ivy Cube turns on its corners instead of its faces, and only four of the eight corners move at all. That makes it one of the very few puzzles a beginner can work out without being taught.
The QiYi Ivy Cube has factory magnets, which is unusual on something this simple and is what stops it feeling floppy. The corner-turning mechanism is smooth and the finish is stickerless.
One way it sells is as a present. If a 3×3 would be too much for the person you are buying for, this gives them the satisfaction of solving something without a fortnight of learning first.
It also makes a decent desk object, since the turning is pleasant enough that people fidget with it whether or not they mean to solve it.

Surprisingly good for the price I would highly recommend it for begginers.
